1. H is for....Hello!! and also Home
We are back at the Fibro Majestic, acclimatising to winter in the mountains after a *brief* period of warm weather in Wales. For some reason it seems harder to adjust to than when we left Aus in December for the UK under fear of our plane not being able to land due to snow storms. I can't tell if it's the house that is so inadequately insulated/heated for the cold or the humidity but whatever it is I'm sure M. will be happy when I stop complaining about it. I. Am. Sooo. Cold!! It's in my bones, every day and is driving me crazy!!
2. H is also for...Hmmm
I'm all for including links to other blogs when they are relevant to this little chooken blog and so a comment left whilst I was away from ANOTHER chicken blog seemed OK...until after scrolling through the posts I came upon one for a chicken curry! I mean, it's not like I'm vegetarian and I LOVE chicken but it really put me off! I just can't link to it!! I'm sorry, but I can't. It's as simple as that. The girls would never forgive me. As it is they can hardly look me in the eye after leaving them for six whole months! What was I thinking?
3. And Ha!
Despite the good care the girls had from D and family, they pretty much didn't lay for the entire time we were away. I told M. they were waiting for me to come home (cue M. to roll eyes). But - hello - they have laid six eggs in the two weeks I've been home! Ha!! A mother ALWAYS knows. x

W is for WELCOME and we WEEELy WEELy missed you and WOW it is so lovely you are back and WHAT - how insensitive to think you might like to link to a CHICKEN CURRY DEATH SPOT and also, W is for WEATHER and we do apologise that there seems to be quite a bit of it about and it is also for WE - we are glad you are back.
I think I speak for everyone.
Amen.
Yes we definitely did miss you. I felt a bit alone in my chicken mania (which seems to have taken over my whole life). And have you seen this website - there are so many things I want I haven't chosen anything, YET.

We all missed ya, J. ;)
Have fun settling in and finding several layers of clothing for the last few weeks of winter. Spring is just around the corner, approx 4 weeks now. :)
PS, I just had the coolest word verification for my last comment.
"grinizar"
I almost want to name a small planet after it! Grinizar, where all the Grinizarians live. Anyway, amused me for all of two seconds, LOL. ;)
What they said.....
xxxxx
You are, each and all, very lovely! Thanks for your welcome homes - I'm slowly getting my head around it and the weather is now weirdly warm so that'll learn me for complaining.
More soon xxxxoooo
Oh!! Welcome Back!!! great to 'see' you again :-)
Yes, its been ridiculously freezing, but I'm pleased to hear you are slowly warming through now. We are defrosting up here too. We've had 3 decent snowfalls and many more frosts, so you missed the worst of it- truly! And the nasty winds... oh dear.
Go chookies! Welcome back omlettes for you! Ours are still on winter strike. Maybe I should go away for a while so they can miss me :-)
xx
